Dr. Zac Kucharek, DPT

Dr. Zac attended Central Michigan University for his Bachelors in Biology while also completing a minor in Psychology. He greatly enjoyed his time and education from Central Michigan University and decided to attend the same University to attain his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has been drawn to the medical field from an early age with fascination for the anatomy and biomechanics of the human body. Then it was his own injuries in football and basketball that were worked through with physical therapy treatment that attracted him to direct his passion towards becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Dr. Zac has focused in musculoskeletal and orthopedic diagnosis of the spine and extremities, which over the course of his career thus far has only grown his passion to improve the lives of his patients through physical therapy interventions. He has recently moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan and joined the Advanced Spine & Posture multidisciplinary team to employ his skills and experience to improve all aspects of the lives of each patient he sees. Dr. Zac uses the Biopsychosocial approach to treat a patient from all aspects of care including biological, social, and psychological factors that may be leading to directly or indirectly to the individuals specific complaints. He is very excited to be working in a clinic that combines the knowledge and talents of so many different individuals in various medical fields to lead to the overall optimal outcome for a patients recovery such as what is offered at Advanced Spine & Posture.

In his free time Dr. Zac enjoys playing and watching all sports, as he was a three sport athlete growing up competing competitively. He now is a large Detroit sports fan especially of the Detroit Red Wings. Much of his free time is spent enjoying the outdoors and all that Michigan has to offer with hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking and other outdoor activities with friends and family.
